Pakistan storms into semifinals without any difficulty


Pakistan team under the captaincy of younis khan storms into semis.
But not sure that they will reach finals

Morkel to replace injured Kallis


Assured of a place in the ICC World T20 semifinals, South Africa will rest Jacques Kallis and field Morne Morkel.

Morkel will pplay in the dead rubber against India on Tuesday.

"Jacques has a niggle in the upper region of his back," explained South Africa captain Graeme Smith.

Kallis to be rested for Tuesday's game

"Jacques could have played on but we don't want to take risks and make sure he is ready for our semi-final whether it is on Thursday or Friday," he said.

"He is two players in one and we have decided to take the bowling option with his replacement.

Herschelle Gibbs will open the batting and this allows us to move all our batsmen one place up the order.

West Indies managed to keep their nerves to win against England and book a place for themselves in the ICC World T20 semi-finals.
